1- In dreams, winter can represent a time in our lives which is unfruitful. It can also represent old age, a time when our energy is running down.

2- At a period in our lives when we are emotionally cold, images associated with winter - such as ice and snow (see Ice and Snow) can highlight the appropriateness, or otherwise, of the wav we feel. In clairvoyance, the seasons can also indicate a time of year when something may happen.

3- Within the cycle of nature, winter can represent a time of lying fallow before rebirth; hence winter can mean death.
