1- To be conscious of a want in a dream is perhaps to link with our basic nature. We mav have suppressed those wants in waking life only to have them surface in dreams.
2- When in dreams we find we want to do or be something different, we are aware of the potential within us either to achieve success or to change our lives.
For instance, to dream of wanting to be a poet instead of an actor can suggest exploration of one’s creativity in a different format.
3- Desire in its fullest sense although the dreamer should take care as want is sometimes considered a form of sin.

To relieve want, signifies that you will be esteemed for your disinterested kindness, but you will feel no pleasure in well doing.
