Transformation or renewal (as in from dirty to clean).

Removing things that are unwanted or harmful from your consciousness or life (such as judgments, self-defeating beliefs, or toxic relationships).

Because a sink is where you clean up after yourself or your family, it can represent “cleaning up after” (such as taking responsibility for past decisions, direction, and actions, and “cleaning up” any resulting “messes”).

A kitchen sink filled with dirty dishes can represent a catch-all (such as someone who takes on other people’s problems), or neglected responsibility.

A bathroom sink might represent: your mental or emotional “cleanliness” (such as conscientiousness, integrity, or a non-judgmental attitude), a personal process, your way of thinking, relating to yourself, making decisions, etc.

(since the bathroom sink is used for day-to-day personal maintenance).
