1- Silence in a dream can suggest uneasiness and expectancy. There is a waiting for something to happen (or not happen).
If someone else is silent when we expect them to speak, we arc unsure as to how that part of ourselves which is represented by the other person will react in waking life.
2- When we are silent, wc are unable to voice our feelings or opinions. We are either inhibited by our own selves or bv outside influences.
3- Spiritually, silence is a space where there is no need for sound. Many religious orders are silent on the basis that there is then closer communication with God. In dreams it may be suggested that silence and withdrawal from the world is necessary.
