Lice, fleas, bugs: things said, thought or done which make you feel uncomfonable or ashamed; feelings that one is, or someone else is, a parasite in a relationship.

Example: I was practising relaxation and went into a dream state. I saw a dark shape attached to my body near my hean. I felt very frightened as I saw it. But as I watched it broke away and left me’ (John W). John had experienced a hean attack, and the dark shape was an embodiment of his fears about his hean, sucking his energy and well-being. In relaxing he was able to let go of these feelings. Because the dream process shows such internal processes in imagery, the fears are shown as an incubus or dark parasite, which falls away.

1- Parasites such as lice, fleas or bugs in a dream suggest that we may be aware that someone is attempting to live off our energy in some way. Our lifestyle may, to them, appear to be exciting and more interesting than their own or provide them with amusement.

2- We may feel unclean in some aspect of our lives which makes us ashamed or uncomfortable. We are aware that we cannot exist without support.

3- We realise that we are not satisfied with our own lives and why we may be living vicariously.

If a person sees stomach-worms and lice walking on his body in great numbers or he sees them walking on his clothes it suggests that he will acquire much wealth and many male children.
