1- Dreaming of ointment means we need to be aware of the part of ourselves that either needs, or is capablc of, healing.

The kind of ointment will often give information as to what we need.

For instance, to be dreaming of a well-known brand can suggest a non-specific type of healing, whereas an ointment that has been prepared specifically for the dreamer suggests a more focused approach.

2- Since Pagan times, ointments have been used to preserve and to prevent decay. Often the use of ointments was a mark of respect, and this symbolism can still apply in dreams today.
