Using charm to get what’s desired. Foxes play with their prey using elaborate or funny gestures to distract the animal while they move in closer.
Having been defeated by trickery (e.g., being “outfoxed”).
In relationships, this speaks of monogamous territoriality. Take care that you are not holding on so tightly here that you actually push the one you love away.
