FAME

Dreams of being famous or basking in the glory of fame usually reflect a need to be recognized and respected by those around you, but they could also be messages from your unconscious to have more self-belief, and to recognize and give yourself credit for your own abilities. In waking life, you may be a little shy, but your dreams have shown you that within you is the ability to achieve great things, if you have the courage to stand out from the crowd. Alternatively, such dreams could warn people in high positions that it is impossible to be at the top for any length of time and when the moment comes he or she needs to accept that fact with love and understanding. The dream may also imply that the dreamer must remember what modesty is and what things were like before they acquired their present status. Dreams of other people becoming famous suggest that the dreamer may soon receive help from friends who will offer it unstintingly.

1- Dreaming of being famous or of achieving fame within a chosen field signifies that we ourselves need to recognise and give ourselves credit for our own abilities. In waking life we may be relatively shy, but in dreams we can often achieve things of which we would not believe we were capable.

2- The Ego (see Introduction) is a very powerful tool and the human being’s need for recognition arises from this.

If we are trying to make decisions as to how to move forward within our lives, we have to recognise our potential to stand out in a crowd or not as the case may be - and to dream of fame allows us to crystallise our attitude to this.

3- Spiritually, fame suggests the need to accept our own integrity.

(Acknowledgment; Announcement; Distinction, Luminary, Recognition, Renowned, Title) Fame in a dream represents a wedding that will be publicly announced, or it could mean rising in rank.

If one earns a title of recognition, or if he becomes renowned, or if he is awarded a great prize for his work in a dream, it means that he will learn that his wife has given birth to a beautiful son. Such a son will follow his father’s footsteps, learn his trade or work at spreading his knowledge or tradition, or he may govern and lead his people after him.
