Focus or attention.
A group activity.
Being in front of an audience can represent: a feeling of self-consciousness, being observed or focused on by others (or a desire for or fear of that), a heightened concern about others’ opinions, or a need for others’ approval.
Being a member of an audience can represent the idea of watching other people live their lives, feeling like a passive observer rather than a participant in life, viewing your life (or some aspect of it) from an objective or unbiased perspective.
