The Big Dictionary of Dreams

by Martha Clarke
A ticket may represent the beginning of a whole series of psychological events; perhaps, you have allowed yourself to explore your unconscious. It also symbolizes that you have approval for a new project. You know the direction your life needs to go.

If you lose the ticket, you may feel insecure and confused regarding your destination, or you may not consider yourself sufficiently prepared. However, depending on the type of ticket in the dream, the oneiric sense will vary: if it is from a bank it announces incidentals and litigation for economic reasons that you will likely lose; if it is a lottery ticket, danger by leaving your affairs at random; a train ticket, patience when social climbing; and a theater ticket, willingness to escape everyday reality.

If the dreamer is traveling in economy class with a first class ticket, it indicates the dreamer’s perception of her social or work position as being well below the one she really deserves.

You will receive news that will clarify your situation.

A bus ticket would indicate that there is a price for moving forward, as might a train ticket.

A ticket to a theatre or cinema may suggest wrc need to take a back scat and be objective over a part of outlives. Tickets to a football or rugby match might mean that we will have to pay for some area of conflict in our lives.

2- One interpretation of a tickct in the form of a certificate or voucher is that of us requiring recognition of the effort we have put in.

To dream of receiving such a ticket indicates it is we who arc being recompensed.

3- Spiritually a dream of a ticket will symbolise our recognition that all knowledge must be somehow paid for.

Permission.

Access to something, someone, or an experience.

Official permission by an authority or by society, perhaps to participate or be part of a group (or a desire for such).

Consider also what the ticketed event represents.

Losing an admission ticket could represent feeling like an outsider in some way, or a fear of being denied access to a particular experience.

A penalty ticket (such as for illegal parking or a traffic violation) can represent a feeling or fear of being caught, accused, or punished somehow.
