SPLINTER

1- In dreams, a splinter can represent a minor irritation.

It is something which has penetrated our defences and is now making us uncomfortable. Splinters may represent painful words or ideas. YVc may be holding on to ideas which cause negative feelings.

2- To be part of a splinter group in a dream suggests feeling sufficiently strongly about something to break away from mainstream thought.

To hit something which splinters is to rccognisc that we are all composed of parts which make a whole.

3- The sense of belonging to a group of like-minded people can only come after we have recognised our isolation or, in some cases, fragmentation.

To dream of splinters sticking into your flesh, denotes that you will have many vexations from members of your family or from jealous rivals.

If while you are visiting you stick a splinter in your foot, you will soon make, or receive, a visit which will prove extremely unpleasant. Your affairs will go slightly wrong through your continued neglect.

If we get a splinter in a dream, it can represent something that has caused us minor pain or irritation. Splinter is also a slang term relating to male sexuality. Additionally, splinter can embody the sense of separating, as in the expression “splinter group.”
