Refuse or rubbish may symbolize repressed contents of the unconscious, emotions that proved too painful for you at some rime in your past and were therefore pushed down into your unconscious. NB The ‘rubbish’ may be just what you need to correct the imbalance in your personality; retrieving the ‘refuse’ may put a stop to self-destructive patterns of behaviour.
