Quarry

A quarry is designed to harvest the bounty of what is available just below the surface of the earth in the form of rocks, minerals, and surface metals. In the symbolism of land as representing the conscious mind, these are the symbolic raw materials that are available to you when you are willing to look below the surface of things to find what is valuable. Rocks are also symbolic of memory and the past, so the most prominent interpretation of what a quarry can bring you is value from considering what has already occurred in your life. Of course, you can overdo this process, and a quarry also holds the possible interpretation of the damage that can be done when you obsess over the past and keep digging when perhaps it is time to move on.
