Ten Thousand Dream Dictionary

1- When a puppet appears in a dream there is perhaps a sense of being able to manipulate circumstances or people around us.

A puppet can also represent the more mechanical processes of our being, those activities which go on automatically in the background.

2- If someone else is working the puppet, we may feci that we are being manipulated. It would be wise to look at how we are co-operating in everyday life in becoming a victim.

If the puppet is manipulating us we have become aware that bureaucracy is causing us difficulty. What should be working for us has, in fact, turned into some kind of a manipulator.

3- At certain stages of development, we can become aware that we are powerless without a spiritually motivating force behind us. We arc like puppets in the greater scheme of things.

Until the late Middle Ages, the puppet was considered a defense against evil ghosts or as possessing magical powers. Such beliefs are still mirrored in the practice of having mascots.

The Big Dictionary of Dreams

Puppets have a dual symbolism of opposite meanings. On the one hand, the inconsistency of character, lack of initiative, and inability to make one’s own decisions. On the other, the power and the ability to pull the strings, that is, to make others to act under your orders. It’s not a positive dream because it shows situations which are not clear or desirable.

The omens of this dream portend happiness thanks to your ability to organize people. To make a puppet dance promises good business and great profit.
