A person you don’t know in real life can represent: A person you know in real life (perhaps who shares a characteristic with the dream person).

A particular person’s role in your life (such as a friendly stranger representing one of your real-life friends).

A characteristic or a general type of person (such as a helper or critic).

A type of person you would (or wouldn’t) like to know.

A problem, challenge, issue, to-do list item, or something else on your mind.

A religious figure or helper (real or imagined).

A threatening stranger could represent a feeling or fear of a threat somewhere in your life.

Consider also the person’s characteristics, actions, what stood out about them, and your feelings about them.
