PACKING

1- When we dream ol” packing suitcases, as though going on a journey, we arc highlighting the need to prepare carefully for the next stage of our lives. There is a need, or want, to get away from past ideas and difficulties.

To be packing a precious object very carefully, indicates we are aware of the intrinsic value to ourselves, or others, of what is represented by that object.

2- We need to establish some kind of order in our lives.

To dream of packing suggests an internal selection process must be undertaken in order to decide what is important to us.

3- We need to make a choice about relevant spiritual information and decide what needs to be retained.

If this is the case for you, then you may be expressing anxiety about attempting to control that which is ultimately uncontrollable by imagining that you can prepare for any outcome by having the right things with you.

The same meaning applies if this is not a recurring dream experience for you, but is likely to be associated with a specific life experience that is causing you anxiety. You can only prepare so much and then you have to let go of the outcome.

If there are no major changes going on in your waking life, it could be that your subconscious is organizing itself in preparation for letting go of emotional “baggage”. Some interpretations say this type of dream is a hint from your subconscious that you are involved in too many activities, and may need to pack some of them up and put them away.
