The Curious Dreamer’s Dream Dictionary

by Nancy Wagaman
Masculinity, masculine personality characteristics, or maturity.

Someone in your life whom you feel tends to hide their feelings or to not communicate very openly (as a mustache can obscure the mouth).

An attempt to hide or alter one’s identity.

A manly mustache on a woman can represent your perception (or imagining) of the woman as having a physical, emotional, or mental trait you associate with masculinity, the idea of someone (or of women in general) not conforming with societal “feminine” norms, a blurring or overlooking of gender boundaries.

A mustache on a man can represent: someone you know who has a mustache, your attitude or preference about men having mustaches (consider how you felt about the mustache).

Ten Thousand Dream Interpretation

by Gustavus Hindman Miller
To dream that you have a mustache, denotes that your egotism and effrontery will cause you a poor inheritance in worldy{sic} goods, and you will betray women to their sorrow.

If a woman dreams of admiring a mustache, her virtue is in danger, and she should be mindful of her conduct.

If a man dreams that he has his mustache shaved, he will try to turn from evil companions and pleasures, and seek to reinstate himself in former positions of honor.

The Big Dictionary of Dreams

by Martha Clarke
The presence of a person with a mustache in dreams suggest you should not trust him.

If it is a stranger, the warning concerns the proposed work or projects that you will receive shortly. But if it is yourself who has a mustache (provided that in real life you do not) the dream indicates that you are fooling yourself.

To see long whiskers announces upcoming luck; short ones, disease; gray ones, serenity.
