The Big Dictionary of Dreams

Just like the DIPLOMA, the medal is a symbol of distinction and recognition. It’s appearance in a dream can be interpreted as a feeling of satisfaction for having completed a task, or the need to receive a reward that was unfairly denied. The interpretation depends on the feelings awake in you and the circumstances developing in real life.

To receive a medal as a reward announces love; to wear it is an omen of endeavors that end well.

Vision: Receiving a medal: you are not aware of it, but you are overly ambitious and arrogant. Giving a medal to someone else: your career will get a boost.

Depth Psychology: Your need for recognition, reward, or authority has become almost pathological; make some drastic changes and do it quickly. Too much pride and ambition will chase away good friends and partners.
