(1) Landing (as of an aeroplane) may symbolize (a need for) grounding yourself, either in reality (instead of fantasizing) or experience (instead of mere intellectual playing with ideas) or in your body, or instincts, or intuition, or Nature.

(2) Landing (as going ashore from a boat) may symbolize escaping from a stunting mother-attachment or from other unconscious contents. The sea may symbolize either mother or the unconscious. Liberating yourself from negative emotional ties to your mother is

always good: it represents a great leap towards taking responsibility for your life and being your own person. Escaping from other unconscious contents is good for you in the sense of freeing yourself from the threats of the unconscious, and this can be achieved only by becoming better acquainted with what is going on in your unconscious.

If landing is not completed it is because you think too much about the problems that concern you. On the contrary, if the plane successfully lands after falling out of control, it means you are facing a huge conflict that you are capable of solving after all.
