Something that’s fashionable (or that’s a trend or fad) can represent: A desire to be like others or to follow the lead of someone else.
Copying others somewhere in your life.
The way a person comes across in interactions with others (their demeanor, mood, personality, etc.).
Something that you feel is a norm, generally accepted, or approved of by “everyone” (such as a popular belief or behavior).
A desire to be accepted, avoid being judged, or otherwise control others’ opinions of you.
A desire to feel better about yourself or express yourself (in verbal or non-verbal communication).
