ELOPING / ELOPEMENT

1- Dreaming of eloping, particularly with someone you know, is trying to escape from a situation that could ultimately be painful. We must maintain a balance between the need for emotional and material security.

2- In a dream to be planning an elopement is creating circumstances where others do not understand the motives behind our actions. We are aware of our own need for some sort of integration within our personalities but cannot do this without people misunderstanding.

3- Elopement signifies a union Spiritual or otherwise particularly in adversity.

Gives gender-specific: Since men and women would in waking life view eloping from different perspectives – for men the ‘rescuing’ of the maiden and for women being rescued – such dreams can allow us to explore the need to escape from different perspectives.
