Something that appears differently in a dream than in real life (such as a woman who appears as a man) can represent: Your perception of something in real life as “different than expected.” The different characteristic itself (such as a bold red sweater representing a bold person).
A feeling that the “different” thing is important, desirable, undesirable, or is on your mind right now for some other reason.
