In dreams, the appearance of a crystal suggests clarity or breaking through to higher levels of consciousness. It may also suggest purity or something that is clearly understood as in ‘crystal clear’. Crystals are also associated with healing properties, so in dreams they may be symbolic of something that has enormous healing capabilities.

If you were looking into a crystal ball in your dream, what you see is most likely to be wish-fulfillment or a reflection of your hidden fears. To dream of coral has a significant meaning in dreams, since coral comes from the depths of the sea; it may therefore relate to your deepest hopes and fears

A crystal is an earth compound—a mineral or gemstone. Both ancient cultures and modern science have utilized the mysterious qualities of crystals, which have the ability to receive and transmit energy.

A Dictionary of Dream Symbols

by Eric Ackroyd
(1) A crystal may be a symbol of the self (for self). Dr Marie-Louise von Franz writes in Man and His Symbols: The mathematically precise arrangement of a crystal evokes in us the intuitive feeling that even in so-called “dead” matter there is a spiritual ordering principle at work. Thus the crystal often symbolically stands for the union of extreme opposites - of matter and spirit.’ The self, too (which Christians have called the image of God in the human being), is a union of opposites - conscious and unconscious, masculine and feminine, and so on.

(2) A crystal may be a symbol of purity and innocence, openness and receptiveness.

Ten Thousand Dream Interpretation

To dream of crystal in any form, is a fatal sign of coming depression either in social relations or business transactions. Electrical storms often attend this dream, doing damage to town and country.

For a woman to dream of seeing a dining-room furnished in crystal, even to the chairs, she will have cause to believe that those whom she holds in high regard no longer deserve this distinction, but she will find out that there were others in the crystal-furnished room, who were implicated also in this sinister dream.
