Mimicking.

Something that multiplies quickly (such as a problem) can represent an amplified or multiplied version of whatever the original represents in your life.

Copying someone else can mean there’s an aspect of that person that you admire or respect.

Copying someone else’s work (such as a test or something they’ve created) can represent stealing, shirking responsibility, or feeling unprepared or inadequate.

Using a copy machine can represent: having something you want to express or share with others, the idea of things multiplying or growing (such as your to-do list), repeating messages, work, your job, or an office environment in general.
