CANOPY

1- When we dream of a canopy we are looking to be protected, sheltered or loved. In olden times a canopy was used to shelter those with special duties or powers, such as kings and queens or priests and priestesses. We still acknowledge on a deep internal level this privilege.

If we ourselves are being sheltered we recognise our own abilities and potential for greatness.

2- A canopy protects the head which is the seat of intellect. We have a need to draw attention to higher ideals or aspirations.

3- Royalty or powerful people often used a canopy with a special symbol cither for spiritual protection or to signify their rank. We should consider how important we find such matters

Material aspects: When we dream of a canopy we are looking to be protected, sheltered or loved. In olden times a canopy was used to shelter those with special duties or powers, such as kings and queens or priests and priestesses.

(Pavilion, Tent) Setting up a pavilion in the open air to sit under it in a dream means gaining power and dominion.

A canopy in a dream also means visiting the graves of martyrs and praying for them, or to die in their state. Folding a canopy in a dream means losing one’s power and dominion, or it could mean nearing the end of one’s life. Walking out from under a canopy in a dream means losing some of one’s power or business. Walking out from under a canopy in a dream also signifies trueness of one’s heart and intention, or earning the station of a martyr through one’s true devotion, or it could mean visiting the Sacred House in Jerusalem.
