Building

If you are in the lower levels, then this represents your exploration of the foundational, primal, sexual and instinctual aspects of yourself.

If you are on the top of the building, then you are connected to your higher awareness, solutions, and spiritual realizations.

If you are half way up, then you are either feeling stuck in the middle or you are finding a balance between higher consciousness and mundane reality. Because the building represents your body or your life, the condition of the building is very telling.

If it is in ruins, then this shows you have a lot of work to do to get your life up to code.

If it is under construction, then you are in the midst of an inner renovation and transformation.

If the building is in pristine shape, then so is your body and your life.

A building can convey the setting, atmosphere, tone, or mood you associate with whatever its dream events represent in your real life (for example, a school might represent a recent life lesson you learned, or a desire to learn).

Consider also the floors of the building (for example, a basement can represent your subconscious mind, the top floor your spirituality, and the middle floors the main areas of your life or consciousness).

A strong edifice means strength and firmness. It also means support, help and a long life. Raising a new edifice in a dream represents either personal or collective material benefits in this world. Building an edifice from plaster or backed bricks encrusted with pictures or forms in a dream means engaging in an unlawful or a deceitful act.
