BELL

The bell is inseparably tied to time. This dream poses a question about what hour has just been tolled.

Hearing a bell ringing means that something new is happening.

The sound of the bell is often thought to be the sound of a “heavenly message.” “Wanting to hang something on the great bell” means that you either have arrogantly exaggerated about something because of your craving for admiration, or you need to make something known that you rather would hide.

Since the beginning of the 15th century, bells have been a symbol for the Fool and, at the same time, for Vanity.

While that meaning is less prevalent now as there are more efficient ways of communication, a bell in a dream (such as a door bell) does warn us to be on the alert. It may also indicate that we have a desire to communicate with someone who is distanced or estranged from us.

3- Because it can charm against the powers of destruction, a bell may be luckv for us in the sense that it can forewarn us of approaching danger.

The bells of a church represent people one can seek their advice and follow their opinion. Bells in a dream also represent calling to prayers or preparing to meet one’s enemies, or they could mean the arrival of a caravan or a shipment. Bells in a dream also represent abrogated books of revelations or tampering with God’s revelations or they could represent past traditions.
